Michael Stoler is the President of New York Real Estate TV, LLC and a Managing Director at Madison Realty Capital, a private equity firm.
Prior to joining Madison in January 2009, Michael served as a Senior Principal at AREA Property Partners (Apollo Real Estate Advisors), a leading real estate fund manager, where he focused on new acquisitions across all of Apollo’s funds under management. Mr. Stoler was previously affiliated with First American Title Insurance Company of New York as a Senior Vice President, and Princeton Commercial Corporation, a management consulting and financing firm which he founded in 1977.
Mr. Stoler is the host and executive producer of “The Stoler Report – Real Estate Trends in the Tri-State Region”, now in its eleventh season. He is also the host and executive producer of “Building New York-New York Life Stories”, which is in its seventh season. He is a real estate commentator on 1010 Wins radio; “The Michael Stoler Real Estate Report” which premiered in 2007 and airs on the weekends.
Mr. Stoler also serves as a columnist for the Commercial Observer and previous served as a Senior Columnist for Real Deal Magazine. He served as the real estate columnist and contributing editor for the New York Sun.
Mr. Stoler served as Adjunct Professor at the NYU Schack Real Estate Institute and has served as one of the co-chairs of the annual capital markets symposiums. He frequently speaks to many organizations including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Realty Club, Real Estate Lenders Association, and Association of Real Estate Women, among others. Mr. Stoler is the coordinator and moderator of the New York and New Jersey Real Estate Summits. He is a Director of the Real Estate Lenders Association and Real Estate Practitioners Institute of Long Island, affiliated with Stony Brook University and served on the Board of Governors of the National Realty Club.
Mr. Stoler is the co-founder, president & ceo of the Foundation for Medical Evaluation & Early Detection, which is a benefactor to the Yeshiva University Program for Jewish Genetic Health. He serves on the Men’s Division Board of Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as Chairman of its Young Men’s Division. He is a member of the Yeshiva University Professionals Real Estate Group Committee. He also served as a member of the board of
Jewish Community Relations Council of New York and the executive board of the New York Region of State of Israel Bonds, and is an associate trustee of the NYU Langone Medical Center. He is past president of the Joint Passover Association, American Friends of Rambam Medical Center, and American ORT.
